Why did you get involved in charitable work?
I enjoy what I do, and when I am able to offer my services to nonprofits, I feel like I'm not only helping a client, but also improving the quality of life in my community.

How does your charitable work affect you personally?
I love disseminating information and if that information involves a good cause, it's even more gratifying to me. When you're able to do work that you enjoy -- and that work ultimately benefits other people -- it's a win-win situation.

How can charitable giving be improved?
The nonprofit sector is one of the last to embrace social media and the power of its reach. I think, with the right social-media strategy, charities can use this new method of communication to raise awareness about their services and the impact they have on their communities. If charities can inform and influence this ever-growing pool of potential donors, they will improve their overall charitable-giving efforts.

What can nonprofits do to improve their fundraising or operations? Without exception, nonprofits have a great story to tell. If they can give that story a personal angle that people can relate and connect to, it will broaden their audience and increase their donor base.
