Refund policy


Please take a moment to read the Philanthropy Journal’s refund policy as stated below.

Event Refunds

Philanthropy Journal will issue a full refund if you cancel your reservation 5 days prior to the event. To cancel, send an email request to charms@ajf.org or call 919-573-4646. Refunds will not be made for cancellations less than 5 days prior to the event. If you have paid for registration and are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person.  If a request for a refund has not been submitted 5 days prior to the event, you will be responsible for the cost of the event regardless of attendance.

Advertising Refunds

Full or partial refunds will be reviewed and evaluated on an individual basis.

Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or nondelivery in event of an act of God, action by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown or any condition beyond control of publisher.

Advertiser and/or its agency shall be jointly and severally liable for all moneys due and payable to publisher for advertising that advertiser or its agency ordered and was published.
