Nebraska knockout - Scholarship fund will benefit

Former heavyweight champion George Foreman has donated $100,000 to a scholarship fund at the University of Nebraska Foundation, the Associated Press reported july 5. The former boxer made the gift in the name of Vada Kinman Oldfield, the late wife of his friend Barney Oldfield, a 90-year-old retired Air Force colonel and public relations tycoon.  The Oldfields have given millions to Nebraska scholarship programs in the past.
