Sierra Club, one of the nation's oldest, largest and most effective advocacy organizations for environmental protection, has an opening for Advancement Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region.  We are looking for an experienced, dynamic development leader to plan, spearhead and implement major gift fundraising activities within the Mid-Atlantic region.  Qualified candidates should have a demonstrated record in gift procurement, effective skills in training and motivating volunteers, and knowledge of the environmental field. Political fundraising experience desirable but not required.  The Northeast Regional Director is based in Washington, D.C. Requires 40% travel.
