Reporting to the Director of Planned and Major Gifts, this position is responsible for overall management and administration of the database used for The Rotary Foundation's major gifts, contact management, and stewardship efforts. You will assist the Fund Development Division in expertly using the full functionality of the major gift database through training, documenting procedures, and analyzing data. Serves as a primary liaison between the Planned and Major Gifts department and the Donor Operations department on issues relating to databases. Develop database quality assurance processes and partner with Manager of Operations to explore the integration of The Raiser's Edge and Donor databases and assist with transition to future major gift database if needed. Highly detail-oriented you will troubleshoot and solve any technical or programming issues by working with Blackbaud and/or IS, and provide database management for storing, accessing and reporting on information gained from a demographic survey. Additionally, you will help negotiate and monitor contract for The Raiser's Edge, while creating its exports, queries and crystal reports. We will count on you to analyze and stay abreast of planned and major gifts information management needs, and work with appropriate staff to develop new reports and processes.

Requires a Bachelor's degree (computer science or programming degree preferred), and 2-3 years working with relational contact management databases. Must possess significant experience using The Raiser's Edge or other relational contact management databases, with an understanding of management information principles and systems. Strong computing and technical skills, including proficiency in a Windows environment necessary. Non-profit experience preferred.
