Feb. 14: Red Cross, Boys & Girls, Charlotte Realtors, and more

Howard Levine, board chairman and CEO, Family Dollar Stores, making $250,000 personal challenge gift to American Red Cross, Carolina Piedmont Region.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County awarded $50,000 grant from Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation to fund renovation and upfitting of Raleigh Boys Club, Raleigh Girls Club and Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club, plus organization's summer day camp facility in Nash County.
Housing Opportunity Foundation, charitable arm of Charlotte Regional Realtor Association, awarded $10,000 grant from Foundation For The Carolinas for third annual Realtors Care Day project, to be held April 8.
