Funder to hold grant information session

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The Golden LEAF Foundation will hold a videoconference session June 25 at 10 a.m. to provide information to potential grantees about its new Open Grants Program.

The session can be viewed at 11 locations across North Carolina and is free, although reservations are required.

Beginning July 1, nonprofits may apply for funds from the new grant program any time during the year.

The foundation focuses its grantmaking on efforts that build economic prosperity through agriculture, workforce preparedness, and job creation and retention.

Proposals that leverage federal and state stimulus programs will be given priority.
