Sally Migliore

Sally Migliore, former director for collaboration and training at the N.C. Center for Nonprofits, has joined the North Carolina Community Foundation as director of community leadership.

In her new role, a new position for the foundation, Migliore will  lead and coordinate a statewide team in the area of affiliate and donors services, scholarships and grantmaking.

The aim of the new position is to help the foundation's statewide network of affiliates serve as effective advocates for philanthropy in their communities.

Migliore is a former executive director of the National Society for Experiential Education and serves on the research committee of the Institute or Nonprofit Research, Education and Engagement at N.C. State University.

Created in 1988, the North Carolina Community Foundation has over $130 million in assets and partners with 60 affiliate foundations that serve 66 counties throughout the state.
