Peter Buffett to speak in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Philanthropist, composer and author Peter Buffett will be speaking at the Greenville Convention Center on Sept. 28 to benefit the Greater Greenville Community Foundation.

The son of billionaire investor and philanthropist Warren Buffett, Peter Buffett will perform "Life is What You Make It: A Concert and Conversation with Peter Buffett."

The program, which will include a piano and vocal performance accompanied by cello, focuses on the importance values, giving back to society and defining one's own path, regardless of wealth or background.

The event accompanies the recent release of Peter Buffett's book, "Life is What You Make It."

Proceeds from the event, which costs $40 for adults and $20 for students, will benefit the Greater Greenville Community Foundation, which supports nonprofits in the Greenville area and across eastern North Carolina.
