Rex Endowment seeks proposals

RALEIGH, N.C. - The John Rex Endowment is seeking applications from nonprofits working to improve the physical and mental health care of children in the Wake County area.

The grants will be awarded through the foundation's Access to Care initiative, a collection of programs aiming to reduce barriers to health care and increase appreciation for health care, especially preventive care.

Grants will fund efforts to improve the systems for primary care and mental health for children; reduce the gap in access to physical and mental-health care for kids; and improve the information-technology capabilities of groups serving the health needs of underserved children.

Letters of intent should be submitted by email to kate@rexendowment.org by 5 p.m. on Nov. 6.

On Nov. 12, the foundation will let grantseekers know if they are being invited to submit an application for full review.

Additional information can be found online.
