DURHAM, N.C. - The Triangle Community Foundation has tapped Lori O'Keefe, its philanthropic services manager, to take over the position of director of philanthropic services.

"She brings tremendous talent and experience to the program, and we are looking forward to working with her in this new role," Andrea Bazán, president of the foundation, says in a statement.

O'Keefe succeeds Beverley Francis, who left the foundation to become president and CEO of the Columbia Foundation in Columbia, Md.

In her new role, which began officially June 2, O'Keefe will provide oversight for the foundation's philanthropic services division, which includes donor engagement and the funder's community grantmaking program, as well as other initiatives.

The Triangle Community Foundation manages almost 700 funds totaling $140 million in assets and awarded more than $13 million in grants in 2007.
