Wyatt joins Kate B. Reynolds

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Pamela Wyatt, former president of Cape Fear Area United Way in Wilmington, N.C., has joined the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust as director of the Poor and Needy Division.

As head of the division's grant program, Wyatt will be responsible for investing approximately $6 million annually in local nonprofit agencies that serve financially-needy Forsyth County residents.

Wyatt previously served as executive director of Smart Start of Forsyth County, vice president of the community impact division of United Way of Forsyth County, and president and CEO of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Winston-Salem.

Wyatt serves on the Community Development Support Collaborative, the Winston-Salem Campaign Coordinating Committee and the United Way Community Investment Cabinet.

She also has served on the boards of Advocacy for the Poor, the School Health Alliance and Nonprofit Connections.

Established in 1947, the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust aims to improve the quality of life for the financially needy in North Carolina.
