Documentary on giving to air Nov. 9

RALEIGH, N.C. - "North Carolina Giving," a documentary that showcases charitable giving of both money and time, will air Nov. 9 at 10 p.m. on UNC-TV.
The hour-long show, which features stories of how individuals in 13 North Carolina communities give back, is narrated by James Joseph, former U.S. ambassador to South Africa.
An introduction will be given by Bill Friday, former president of the University of North Carolina system and current host of UNC-TV's North Carolina People.
Conceived of and funded by NCGives, the documentary was produced by Minnow Media, based in Carrboro.
