Greensboro United Way taps new leader

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- United Way of Greater Greensboro has tapped a veteran United Way chief from Ohio to serve as the organization's next president and CEO.

Keith Barsuhn has served 24 years with United Way, most recently as president of the Greater Stark County affiliate in Canton, Ohio.

He will take over the Greensboro group July 1, succeeding Neil Belenky, who will serve as director of endowment fund development before retiring in August 2009.

"My initial goal will be to meet as many key individuals in the community as possible, while preparing for a successful 2008-2009 campaign," Barsuhn says in a statement.
