Philanthropy workshop set for Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. - NCGives will sponsor a workshop in Wilmington on Nov. 13 on bolstering communities through philanthropy.

The one-day conference, conducted in partnership with the Center for Community Action, aims to provide attendees with knowledge and skills needed to develop the giving of "time, talent and treasure" in both rural and urban communities.

The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warwick Center at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

A $50 fee includes lunch, materials and snacks. Register online.
