Seminar on giving set for Christian nonprofits
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Charitable giving will be the focus of a free, day-long seminar April 12 in Raleigh for Christian nonprofits.
Sponsored by the Mission Increase Foundation, which is based in Portland, Ore., the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center.
The Mission Increase Foundation, which since 1999 has partnered with over 1,000 Christian nonprofits around the U.S. and helped them raise a total of $250 million, recently merged with Barnabas Way, a Raleigh foundation that provided funding for local faith-based nonprofits.
The merged group aims to provide fundraising training, grants and coaching to help ministries become more effective and sustainable.
