GREENSBORO, N.C. - The United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro raised more than $1.6 million in its annual campaign to support the creative community in Greensboro, exceeding its goal of $1.42 million.
The campaign, chaired by Angie Orth, vice president for regional development and quality at Advanced Home Care, saw increases of $80,000 from foundations, more than $76,000 from corporate donors and more than $79,000 from individual donors.
The council "will continue to invest dollars, time and talents toward the goal of growing our creative community and moving Greensboro to a place of national recognition as a community rich in creative expression," Orth says in a statement.
