Wake Habitat names executive director

RALEIGH, N.C. - Habitat for Humanity of Wake County has selected Kevin Campbell, who has worked for Habitat organizations for two decades, as its new executive director.

Campbell, director of building industry relations for Habitat for Humanity International, will begin his new job in April.

In his current job, Campbell leads Habitat's national Builders' Blitz initiative and also heads the organization's efforts to expand ReStore operations to provide support for Habitat affiliates throughout the U.S.

Before joining the staff of Habitat International, Campbell was founding executive director for a Habitat affiliate in the Greater Lynchburg, Va., region.

Wake Habitat currently is building its 350^th home and this year plans to build 16 homes.
