Women’s giving topic of upcoming meeting

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Women and charitable giving will be the focus of a breakfast meeting Sept. 18 sponsored by the Triangle chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Speaking at the event, to be held at the Radisson Hotel at Research Triangle Park from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., will be Betty Craven of the Warner Foundation and Noel Lichtin of the Lichtin Family Foundation.

They will share their experiences working in strategic philanthropy, including how they award grants and what they expect from their beneficiaries.

Beth Briggs, president of Creative Philanthropy, will moderate the discussion.

The cost, which includes breakfast, is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
