Harvard endowment rebounds

Rebounding from a 27 percent plunge that triggered salary freezes, layoffs and a stop in some campus expansion, the endowment at Harvard University grew 11 percent to $27.4 billion in the fiscal year ended June 30, The New York Times reported Sept. 9 (see Harvard endowment story).
