Litz tapped to head funders network

A technology and nonprofit-sector veteran will become the new president and CEO of the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers next month.

Michael Litz joins the Arlington, Va.-based organization March 1, succeeding acting president Ernie Gutierrez.

Litz comes to the forum from OneWorld United States, where he served as president since the group's inception in 2001.

OneWorld is an internet portal on international issues and a network for nonprofits working on sustainable development and human rights.

Before OneWorld, Litz was chief technology officer for the Benton Foundation.

The forum is a network of 32 associations of regional grantmakers and works to connect its affiliate associations make their voices heard in the national arena on issues of philanthropy.
