In charity promotion, the White Castle fast-food chain is selling scented candles that resemble its burgers and are infused with their aroma, and donating the proceeds to Autism Speaks, the Associated Press reported May 6 (see White Castle charity story).

University of Wyoming endowment grows 22 percent

The value of the endowment at the University of Wyoming grew 22 percent to $253.3 million in 2009, the Star-Tribune in Casper reported May 7 (see university endowment story).
