Photo Contest Winner
Vikki Baptiste of Illinois-based Mid Central Community Action is the winner of the Philanthropy Journal's photo contest.
The winning photo features boys in a Labor Day float, as part of Central Illinois Men Against Domestic Abuse, carrying the message: "Real Men Don't Hit."
Mid Central Community Action will receive a $200 cash prize for submitting the winning photo.
"This was an extremely difficult decision," said Todd Cohen, editor & publisher, "but we felt the 'Real Men Don't Hit' photo carried a simple and powerful message, and overall it was the shot that best captured the spirit of the nonprofit."
Philanthropy Journal subscribers submitted over 60 photos for the contest.
All photos will be featured in future editions of PJ's free eNewsletter.
