Salk Institute gets $20M from Waitt
Waitt Family Foundation, La Jolla, Calif., gave Salk Institute $20M to create Advanced Biophotonics Center, support salaries of faculty, senior technicians, acquire imaging equipment; Ted Waitt, co-founder of Gateway, is vice chairman, Salk Institute board of trustees.
