Skoll gives social entrepreneurship awards
Skoll Foundation, Palo Alto, Calif., presented Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship to 11 organizations, each to receive $1M over three years: Amazon Conservation Team, American Council for Renewable Energy, Arzu, Digital Divide Data, Half the Sky Foundation, KIVA, mothers2mothers, Partners in Health, PeaceWorks Foundation Population and Community Development Association, and Visayan Forum Foundation.
