Elizabeth received her B.A. from Duke University, where she designed her own major in comparative literature and culture.
Previously, she interned with the Aspen Institute Berlin, a nonprofit organization that fosters transatlantic dialogue on foreign policy, defense and trade issues.
She has also worked at Duke University Press; Arte Público Press, a nonprofit publishing house and archival project; and KUHF, Houston's NPR affiliate.
