Ken Sigmon, associate vice chancellor for development, N.C. State University, named vice president for development, Oklahoma State University Foundation, and Steve Watt, executive director of gift planning, N.C. State, named interim associate vice chancellor for development.

Ragan Folan, chair, board of trustees, Old Salem Museum and Gardens, Winston-Salem, named president and CEO, succeeding Lee French, who resigned to explore other professional objectives.

Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina, Greensboro, will benefit from Rock the Runway fashion show, scheduled for Feb. 3, Elm Street Center, 203 South Elm St., Greensboro.

6th Annual Empty Bowls 2012 to benefit Urban Ministries of Durham to be held March 8, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Durham Armory.

United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, and Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, named recipients of annual Business Support of the Arts Awards -- Stained Glass Associates, Knightdale, small-business category; Progress Energy, large-business category; Linda S. Bramford, arts education; Tim Stevens, Garner, individual category.

March 2 is deadline for nominating individuals for The Winston-Salem Foundation Award for personal dedication in support of foundation's mission, and for nominating individuals and groups for ECHO Award for building social capital.
