Businesswomen to talk outreach

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Chix in Business, a group of local businesswomen, will focus on community outreach during its monthly luncheon Sept. 17 in Cary.

The event will feature a panel discussion on the benefits of community outreach and how to get involved. Panel members include Chix in Business founder and President Elizabeth Galecke, community outreach chair Paige Tharrington and business owner Sally Williams.

Admission to the luncheon, which will be held at Savor Hospitality, is $25 for visitors, $15 for members and $25 at the door. Networking begins at 11:30, followed by the program and lunch at noon.

Those who wish to attend must register online by September 11.

Chix in Business, a nonprofit grassroots organization of women business owners based in the Triangle, focuses on resource sharing, education, discussion and mentoring among its members, as well as outreach to the community.
