Women’s center holds divorce workshop

HICKORY, N.C. -- The Women's Resource Center in Hickory is sponsoring a workshop for women evaluating legal and financial issues facing women considering a divorce.

Topics will include dividing assets, real estate, wills and power of attorney, as well as other documents designed to protect the rights of women and their children.

The $15 fee for the session includes a copy of "The N.C. Family Law book." Register by Nov. 7 by calling 828.322.6333 ext. 207.
