Combining online and major-gifts fundraising

Major-gifts fundraising typically involves long hours of building close personal relationships, while online fundraising is based on reaching the most people and measuring results.

However, both are founded on the concept of starting small and making donors feel engaged in a nonprofit's mission.

In her article, Mikaela King, head of marketing for CDR Fundraising Group, suggests ways to combine major-gifts and online fundraising, allowing nonprofits to reach out to more potential donors and give them a sense of connection at the same time.
