The verdict on cooperative fundraising

The idea of joining forces with other nonprofits for fundraising campaigns has sparked debate among nonprofit professionals.

Some argue that joint campaigns are better for the whole community, and that donors like seeing nonprofits working cooperatively.

However, others cite inconvenience, cultural differences and difficulty measuring impact as reasons why collaborative fundraising works well in theory, but not in real life.
