Replenishing the pool of nonprofit leaders

Nonprofits are dealing with a crisis in leadership caused by a variety of factors, from accounting scandals to retiring Baby Boomers. Many organizations are concerned about where their new pool of leaders will come from, and how to make sure they are ethical and qualified. 

An article published in On Philanthropy and written by John Clinton, assistant professor of corporate responsibility and nonprofit management at The New School, examines the factors that cause a shortage of good leadership, and discusses what nonprofits can do to ensure that, when the torch is passed, it ends up in capable hands.
