Triangle Radio Reading Service

We Breathe Words Into Your Life

The Triangle Radio Reading Service connects people who are blind and print impaired to each other, their communities, and families by delivering news, information, and entertainment using the latest audio technology. TRRS streams its daily broadcasts to the web: www.trianglereadingservice.org.  The informational programs are also available on demand through streaming on demand or podcasting. In this manner you may listen to programs on your schedule.

The TRRS broadcast signal covers the entire counties of Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Harnett, Lee, Moore, Orange, Person, Randolph, and Wake. It can also be heard in significant parts of Cumberland, Franklin, Guilford, Hoke, Johnston, Montgomery, Nash, Rockingham, Vance, and Warren counties.

TRRS loans out specially tuned SCA receivers, free of charge to those living in the broadcast area.

To apply for a special receiver call the TRRS office (919) 832-5138.
