New Announcements: Information on Products and Services

Social Impact is the first GPS-based social enterprise finder. It's a free app that works on iPhones and iPads, and is for those customers who want their purchasing to reflect the change they want to see in the world.  Many of the businesses in the app are nonprofit restaurants, coffee shops, catering services, bakeries, and ice cream stores, each of which creates local social impact from every dollar that gets spent.  While the database is still growing, it already includes nearly 1000 listings, including roughly a dozen in North Carolina.  

Artez Interactive, a global leader in multi-platform online fundraising solutions launched the Friendship Powered Fundraising (FPF) app for Facebook. It is the only event fundraising app that runs entirely within Facebook, the online community that over a billion friends around the world call home.

iShare is a charitable donations program that allows Image Outfitters, a custom promotional products company, customers to help better their communities and the organizations they care about by donating a portion of their order's revenue. Through iShare, Image Outfitters customers may direct ten percent of the revenue from their order to the 501 (c)(3) charitable organization of their choice.

Outbrain, a content discovery platform, launched Outbrain Amplify's self-service platform, a fast and highly effective solution for marketers looking to drive a highly engaged audience to its best online content. Previously available only to larger brands, the self-serve platform is an extension of the company's core offering that allows businesses of all sizes and budgets to distribute their content at scale. 

FrontStream Payments, Inc., a national provider of payment and donor solutions, announced that it is launching MerchantGiving, a pilot charitable giving program that allows any merchant with a web presence to easily add a donation button benefitting the charity of their choice. This move represents the first merchant-facing product development arising from FrontStream's recent acquisition of FirstGiving, an online fundraising platform focused on helping nonprofits and their supporters meet and exceed fundraising goals for important causes.

FoodSource Plus, a food and supply management company serving the human service community, has launched its sister division for non-food supplies and services, SupplySource Inc.  SupplySource Inc. has chosen to partner with a wide array of prominent supply and service providers to serve its customers nationwide. SupplySource Inc., the supply and services arm of FoodSource Plus's savings program brings human service agencies savings and convenient purchasing of all goods and services in their general ledger from office supplies, equipment, background check services to utilities and clothing.

Social Change Public Relations & Marketing (SC-PR), a comprehensive public relations and marketing company  for the philanthropic community, corporations and the entertainment industry, as well as awareness campaigns which capitalize on their intersection was recently launched. SC-PR concentrates on messages that matter, but also messages that work. The company's focus is on helping non-profits to shape their public footprint; take their image and presence to the next level; and manage the strategies and intricate relationships of corporate sponsorship and cause marketing.

PolicyLink with support from the James Irvine Foundation, developed Getting Equity Advocacy Results (GEAR)  to identify the essential components of successful equity advocacy for policy change. With GEAR, advocates can strengthen the effectiveness of their work, identify opportunities to drive change, and obtain feedback for improvement and demonstrate results.
