Slideshow: Kids, seniors bridge digital gap

Edith Locust and James Vick
Edith Maxine Locust, left, a resident of the Carriage House, had never used a computer before. In the first 10 minutes of her first class, Broughton senior James Vick has taught her how to turn on a computer, use a mouse, open, save and reopen a document, and type her name. Jamie plans to attend either N.C. State University or the University of North Carolina at Wilmington; he has twin brothers, each attending one of those schools.
