Advertising Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

All ads subject to publisher's approval. Publisher may at any time reject or cancel any ad, space reservation or position commitment. Publisher may insert the word "advertisement" above and/or below any copy. Only publication of an ad shall constitute final acceptance of advertiser's order.

Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or nondelivery in event of an act of God, action by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown or any condition beyond control of publisher.

Advertiser and/or its agency shall be jointly and severally liable for all moneys due and payable to publisher for advertising that advertiser or its agency ordered and was published.

First-time advertisers with Philanthropy Journal are required to pay in advance for their first ad. Individuals or institutions that have established credit will be billed at time of publication.


Philanthropy Journal protects the privacy of our readers and advertisers. Any personal information you provide to us will not be disclosed to outside entities. We ask you to provide professional information, opinions and feedback about your work so we can deliver the best nonprofits news and information available online.

Our Web site tracks readers browsing patterns so we can deliver news and advertising that is relevant to our readers. The information we collect - such as the number and frequency of visitors - is similar to television ratings the networks use to track viewers. We may provide this aggregate data to our advertisers and strategic partners, but we do not release information about individual readers.
